Anglesey Sea Kayak Symposium

Il Simposio di Anglesey quest'anno è stato particolarmente ricco di eventi serali, con tante presentazioni di viaggi, spedizioni ed imprese dei più noti ed apprezzati kayakers del mondo.
Sul palco del bel teatro di Holyhead Freya Hoffmeister ha raccontato il suo giro dell'Australia 2009 e la sera successiva Alain e Natalie Antognelli hanno presentato la prima tappa del loro spettacolare viaggio di scoperta fotografica lungo le coste della Groenlandia: http://www.phototeam-nature.com/
Le successive serate presso l'accogliente Outdoor Center sono state animate dai filmati di Roland Woollven sul giro della Gran Bretagna nel 2008, di Phil Hadley&Jenn Kleck sulla Baja California ed il Golden Gate Simposyum 2009, Fiona Whitehead sul giro di Gran Bretagna ed Irlanda 2004...
Tutte le slides sono state commentate dal vivo dai rispettivi presentatori e hanno alimentato la fantasia dei presenti per intraprendere nuove avventure in kayak da mare!
Il nostro video "Alla scoperta delle Isole Ioniche della Grecia" era l'unico con musiche e commento predefinito, con tanto di sottotitoli in inglese che mi hanno risparmiato il confronto con una folta platea di madre lingua inglese che probabilmente avrebbe compreso poco del mio inglese zoppicante!
Gli intermezzi del filmato hanno suscitato sempre molte risate e battute di complicità: un piccolo successo personale per il montaggio animato realizzato da Mauro e che ha raccolto anche ad Anglesey tanti complimenti ed apprezzamenti...
Una copia del nostro dvd è stata ovviamente consegnata al mitico Nigel Dennis che ci ha invitati a presentare il viaggio insieme agli altri illustri ospiti e che ogni anno organizza un Simposio sempre più interessante!

Our video "Discovering the Ionic Islands of Greece" was the only one with music, comment and English subtitles, to save me the comparison with a thick stage of mother English language that would probably have understood few of my poor English!
The intervals of our video have always aroused a lot of laughters and wisecracks of complicity: a small personal success for the animate assemblage realized by Mauro that has also picked up so many compliments and appreciations...
A copy of our dvd has obviously been delivered to the mythical Nigel Dennis, that has invited us to introduce the trip together with the other illustrious entertainers and that organizes a Symposium every year more and more interesting!
