Bibione presentation

Siamo stati invitati a presentare il nostro viaggio estivo in Grecie al Raduno Internazionale di kayak da mare che si terrà a Bibione dal 22 al 30 maggio 2010.
La serata di mercoledì 26 maggio sarà infatti dedicata alla presentazione del filmato realizzato con le migliori immagini raccolte durante il periplo dell'arcipelago delle Ioniche della Grecia.
La presentazione a Bibione ci rende particolarmente felici perchè, avendo a disposizione l'intera serata, avremo la possibilità di raccontare le nostre avventure in kayak nel Mar Mediterraneo sia in inverno che in estate: ci sarà infatti tempo sufficiente per presentare anche il filmato di 40' su "Minorca kayak tour 2009", realizzato da Mauro dopo la nostra ultima spedizione invernale alla Isole Baleari:

Certo le condizioni mutano, le lunghe giornate estive vengono sostituite dalle corte giornate invernali, i colori cambiano, le temperature si abbassano e la scenografia si altera completamente... ma il piacere di navigare in mare rimane sempre inalterato!

We were invited to introduce our summer sea kayak expedition to Grrece to the Bibione International Symposium.
On Wednesday evening 26th of May we will present the tape realized with the best images harvests during the periplus of the Ionic Islands of Greece.
The presentation in Bibione makes us particularly happy because during the evening we will have the possibility to tell our adventures in kayak in the Mediterranean Sea both in winter that in the summer time: there will be enough time to introduce also the tape "Minorca kayak tour 2009", realized after having spent two weeks in the Island of Wind, the more Oriental and perhaps the most beautiful of the Balearic Islands: http://www.tatianacappucci.it/Tatiyak/Filmati/Minorca2009/Minorca2009.asp.Conditions certainly change, the long summer days are replaced by the court winter days, the colors they change, the temperatures lower and the scenography changes completely... but the pleasure to paddle is always unchanged!

Anglesey Sea Kayak Symposium

Il Simposio di Anglesey quest'anno è stato particolarmente ricco di eventi serali, con tante presentazioni di viaggi, spedizioni ed imprese dei più noti ed apprezzati kayakers del mondo.
Sul palco del bel teatro di Holyhead Freya Hoffmeister ha raccontato il suo giro dell'Australia 2009 e la sera successiva Alain e Natalie Antognelli hanno presentato la prima tappa del loro spettacolare viaggio di scoperta fotografica lungo le coste della Groenlandia: http://www.phototeam-nature.com/
Le successive serate presso l'accogliente Outdoor Center sono state animate dai filmati di Roland Woollven sul giro della Gran Bretagna nel 2008, di Phil Hadley&Jenn Kleck sulla Baja California ed il Golden Gate Simposyum 2009, Fiona Whitehead sul giro di Gran Bretagna ed Irlanda 2004...
Tutte le slides sono state commentate dal vivo dai rispettivi presentatori e hanno alimentato la fantasia dei presenti per intraprendere nuove avventure in kayak da mare!
Il nostro video "Alla scoperta delle Isole Ioniche della Grecia" era l'unico con musiche e commento predefinito, con tanto di sottotitoli in inglese che mi hanno risparmiato il confronto con una folta platea di madre lingua inglese che probabilmente avrebbe compreso poco del mio inglese zoppicante!
Gli intermezzi del filmato hanno suscitato sempre molte risate e battute di complicità: un piccolo successo personale per il montaggio animato realizzato da Mauro e che ha raccolto anche ad Anglesey tanti complimenti ed apprezzamenti...
Una copia del nostro dvd è stata ovviamente consegnata al mitico Nigel Dennis che ci ha invitati a presentare il viaggio insieme agli altri illustri ospiti e che ogni anno organizza un Simposio sempre più interessante!

The Anglesey Sea Kayak Symposium was particularly rich in evening events, with so many presentations of trips, expeditions and enterprises of the most known kayakers of the world.

Our video "Discovering the Ionic Islands of Greece" was the only one with music, comment and English subtitles, to save me the comparison with a thick stage of mother English language that would probably have understood few of my poor English!
The intervals of our video have always aroused a lot of laughters and wisecracks of complicity: a small personal success for the animate assemblage realized by Mauro that has also picked up so many compliments and appreciations...
A copy of our dvd has obviously been delivered to the mythical Nigel Dennis, that has invited us to introduce the trip together with the other illustrious entertainers and that organizes a Symposium every year more and more interesting!

Subtitles for Anglesey!

Abbiamo predisposto i sottotitoli in inglese per il nostro DVD sul viaggio in Grecia non appena abbiamo saputo di poterlo presentare al prestigioso Simposio Internazionali di Anglesey.
Grazie al prezioso aiuto dell'amico maltese Damian Schembri abbiamo preparato una copia del DVD da proiettare davanti una nutrita platea internazionale che potrà così apprezzare la bellezza dei luoghi visitati in kayak senza dover sopportare la mia discutibile pronuncia...
Ringraziamo di cuore Nigel Dennis per l'invito e per l'occasione di presentare ancora, come lo scorso anno, uno dei nostri viaggi preferiti: Alla scoperta delle Isole Ioniche della Grecia!

We have predisposed English subtitles for our DVD as soon as we have known to be able to introduce it to the prestigious Angelsey Sea Kayak Symposium 2010.
Thanks to the help of our Maltese friend Damian Schembri, we prepared a copy of the DVD for an international meeting where nobody speak Italian... so they can maybe appreciated the places shown without having to bear my debatable English pronunciation...
We want to thank Nigel Dennis for the opportunity to introduce one more time one of our preferred sea kayak expedition: "Discovering the Ionic Islands of Greece"!
