Another presentation!

Luciano Belloni, l'organizzatore del tradizionale raduno dei saluti di Natale a Bocca di Magra (opportunamente denominato WISKIE), ci ha invitati a presentare il nostro video "Alla scoperta delle Isole Ioniche della Grecia" durante la serata di sabato 12 dicembre 2009 presso l'Hotel Ala Bianca di Ameglia, dove alloggeranno la maggior parte dei partecipanti alle escursioni in kayak.

In occasione della prima presentazione del nostro video "Alla scoperta delle Isole Ioniche della Grecia" abbiamo pensato di accompagnare il DVD con il calendario 2010 e con il libricino omonimo che in un bel formato tascabile di 70 pagine raccoglie tutti gli articoli scritti sulle isole visitate, corredati dalle immagini più significative dei nostri tre viaggi... un bel modo per arricchire la biblioteca canoistica!

GZparty and prize!

La festa di sabato sera al negozio di Max e Nanni è stata un successo: tantissima gente, un gran cuoco, ottima musica, bei filmati e soprattutto molta allegria tra due (quasi tre) generazioni di canoisti!

Tra birra e jazz la serata è volata ed il tempo non è stato sufficiente per salutare tutti gli amici accorsi da più parti dello stivale... divertimento puro ed ennesima conferma: il popolo del kayak è un gran bel popolo!!!
Mio fratello, dopo il viaggio estivo a Lefkada, è stato fulminato: ha subito acquistato un suo kayak rosso fiammante e ha vinto una pagaia moderna alla riffa del GZparty... il suo destino è ormai segnato: diventerà un kayaker!

The Saturday evening party has been a success: a lot of people, a big cook, beautiful videos, good music and a great atmosphere beetwen two (almost three) generations of canoeists!

With beer and jazz the time has not been enough to greet all the friends... pure fun and another confirmation: the people of the kayak is a big beautiful people!!!

My brother, after the summer trip in Lefkada, has immediately purchased one flaming red kayak and he has won a modern paddle to the GZparty... its destiny is now marked: he will be a kayaker!

Second prize!!!

Il nostro video "Alla scoperta delle Isole Ioniche della Grecia" ha vinto il secondo premio della rassegna milanese "La canoa esplora il mondo" del 14 novembre 2009!
Una soddisfazione tanto maggiore perchè si è trattato non già di una grande impresa ma di tre splendidi viaggi in compagnia di amici straordinari che hanno reso l'esperienza indimenticabile e molto divertente, sia durante la navigazione che durante il lavoro di montaggio!
Una ragione in più per partecipare alle serate di presentazione che già si rincorrono numerose!

Our video "Discovering the Ionic Islands of Greece" has won the second prize of the 22^ Italian review "The canoe explore the world" of November 14th 2009!
A double satisfaction: it was not a great expedition but a wonderful three years kayak trip, with a lot of good friends that have made an extremely funny experience, both during the journey and the editing!

Il nostro video a Milano!!!

Con grande piacere vi informiamo che il nostro video “Alla scoperta delle Isole Ioniche della Grecia” è stato selezionato dalla giuria della 22^ rassegna milanese “La canoa esplora il mondo” e sarà presentato nel corso della serata di sabato 14 novembre 2009 (alle ore 20,30 presso la sala del Centro San Fedele in Via Hoepli 3/5 a Milano).
Non è stato facile condensare in una presentazione di 20 minuti (che ha richiesto quasi 300 ore di lavorazione) 1.300 km e 8 settimane di navigazione condivisa con 18 compagni di avventura nei 3 viaggi in kayak delle estati 2007-2008-2009.
“Lefkada kayak tour 2009”, il viaggio conclusivo della circumnavigazione delle numerose Isole Ioniche, è stato naturalmente inserito nel video.
Ci auguriamo di condividere questa nostra bella esperienza in altre sedi ed incontri; contattateci per concordare dove, come e quando inviando una mail a: tatiyak@tatianacappucci.it

With great pleasure we inform you that our video "Discovering the Ionic Islands of Greece" has been selected by the jury of the 22^ Italian review "The canoe explores the world" and it will be introduced during the evening of Saturday 14th of November 2009 in Milan.
It hasn't been easy to condense in a presentation of 20 minutes (what has almost asked for 300 hours of workmanship) 1.300 km and 8 weeks of navigation shared with 18 companions of adventurein the 3 kayak trips in the summers 2007-2008 -2009.
"Lefkada kayak tour 2009", the conclusive trip of the circumnavigation of the numerous Ionic Islands, it has naturally been inserted in the video.

Che emozione!!!
Inviato il breve resoconto del viaggio all'ufficio stampa della federazione che insieme a FICT e Sottocosta ha patrocinato "Lefkada Kayak Tour 2009", non pensavamo certo di vederlo interamente pubblicato in così breve lasso di tempo...
E qualcuno ci ha già scritto per complimentarsi: è forse una delle prime volte che compare un articolo interamente dedicato al kayak da mare turistico sul sito dedicato all'agonismo!
Fa un certo effetto vedere i nostri kayak colorati tra i Campioni del Mondo di Slalom e di Maratona... forse qualche agonista, alla fine della carriera, salirà finalmente su un kayak da mare!

Wow! Our kayak trip on the home page of the national federation!
Sent the brief account of the trip to the press office of the federation that has patronized the trip together with FICT and Sottocosta, we didn't think to see it entirely published in so brief weary of time... and someone has already written us to congratulate: is maybe one of the first times that an article about tourist sea kayak appears on a web site entirely devoted to the competition!
It is unusual to see our colored kayaks among World Championships of Slalom and Marathons... perhaps some competitors, at the end of his career, will finally paddle on a sea kayak!

Le uscite domenicali sono ricche di grandi scoperte e piccole avventure anche dopo tanti anni... la sorpresa aumenta quando al rientro da un lungo viaggio si scoprono cose lasciate lontane... e si capisce di non essere soli: anche sul nostro lago c'è chi si diletta di rock balancing!
The Sunday excursions are rich of great discoveries and small adventures also after so many years... the surprise increases when we reentry from a long trip and we discover some strange things... and we understand not to be alone: also on our lake there is who pleases of rock balancing!

Casoni Aperti 2009

Gli amici del CKF ci hanno regalato un'altro indimenticabile raduno, molto partecipato (circa 100 canoisti!), molto curato (ottimi spaghetti!), molto istruttivo (splendida laguna!) e soprattutto molto ben organizzato e gestito. Il piacere di ritrovare amici di kayak ampliato dal sole ancora caldo e dal mare ancora calmo: ottimi ingredienti per un successo garantito.
Talvolta non serve raggiungere mete esotiche per condividere il piacere unico del viaggio!!!
Grazie di cuore per la bella pagaiata in compagnia!

The friends of CKF have given us another unforgettable meeting, very participated (around 100 kayakers!), very attended (good spaghetti!), very instructive (beautiful lagoon!) and above all very well organized and managed. The pleasure to find again friends, warm sun and calm sea: good ingredients for a guaranteed success.
Sometimes, we don't need to reach exotic destinations to share the unique pleasure of the trip! Many thanks for the sunday paddling!

L'occhio di Allah sul kayak di Hanry c'era già prima della partenza in ricordo dei viaggi passati!
Ma i nuovi ammennicoli sui kayak di Mauro e di Sergio sono il risultato delle lunghe scorribande nei mari greci dell'ultimo viaggio estivo!

Blue sails

La velletta azzurra ha fatto la sua parte e sia in acqua che a terra è stata una fedele compagna di viaggio, visto che abbiamo incontrato vento ogni giorno nel tardo pomeriggio...

The blue sail has made its part and both in the water that on the land it has been a good companion of trip, considering that we have met wind every day in the afternoon...

Fishing-line!

Io avevo portato due lenze striminzite ma Sergio è arrivato davvero attrezzato!
Abbiamo mangiato pesce fresco scottato alla piastra da leccarci i baffi!
Orate, occhiate, perchie e qualche altro pesce che non siamo stati capace di riconoscere...

I have had just two fishing-lines but when Sergio has arrived the music is changed!

We have eaten so good and fresch line-fishes!But we have not been able to recognize all the fished fishes...

Animals...

"La ragazza italiana parla in inglese con il rospo greco" - ho sentito dire a due avventori del bar quando ho scattato la foto: forse avevano già bevuto troppo, io gli chiedevo solo "stop, please" per il ritratto!
Giancarlo di Animal Rescue sarà felice di vedere che abbiamo appreso qualche piccolo trucco per tenere lontano gli esemplari più fastidiosi...

"The italian girl speaks in english with the greek toad" - someone said when I took my picture... maybe they have drunk too much, I only asked him "stop, please" for the portrait!
Giancarlo and Animal Rescue will be happy to see that we have learned some small makeup to hold far the most annoying animals...
